Guided by the compassionate and visionary ideals of Swami Pranavanandaji, our revered late Swamiji Vijayanandaji was inspired to establish an English-medium school in the underprivileged and backward region of North Bengal. After his passing, this noble dream was brought to fruition through the dedicated efforts and tireless hard work of Swami Satyanandaji, who was then the Secretary of the Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Siliguri Branch. In 1994, the school was successfully founded on 50 bighas of land near the Rajganj B.D.O. Office.
Nestled between Siliguri and Jalpaiguri, the school stands just a few minutes’ walk from the Fatapukur bus stop. The campus, spread across a square plot with a distinctive semi-circular building, is surrounded by lush greenery that creates a serene and inspiring atmosphere for learning. The institution also features two playgrounds, a swimming pool, an auditorium, a health centre, and a hostel—facilities designed to foster the holistic development of every student.
The school strives not only for academic excellence but also for the mental, moral, and social growth of its learners. As an English-medium institution under the spiritual guidance of the Bharat Sevashram Sangha, it provides a distinctive educational experience rooted in discipline, compassion, and human values.
It was Swami Satyanandaji’s profound life philosophy and unwavering vision that laid the foundation of this institution on the principles of righteousness and service. Through his immense dedication and relentless effort, Swamiji transformed this vision into a living reality—an enduring centre of learning and moral development.
